Instructions for Authors

Type of contribution. The journal Theory of Stochastic Processes accepts original articles and surveys on general methods and techniques of the theory and applications of stochastic processes. The official language of the journal is English. Two related papers by the same author will not be published in the same issue. Contributions are accepted for reviewing with the implication that the same work is not and will not be under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by the all coauthors. Typically the number of pages in pdf file with your contribution, prepared as indicated below, should not exceed 20 pages. If your article or survey does not fit into this limitation it can accepted for reviewing only by a special decision of the Editorial Board.
File preparation. All contributions should be prepared in LATEX using document class tsp-short , which is our custom class, a simple derivative of amsart class. Here is an example of how your paper should look like. Note that the paper should contain an article title, author and coauthor names, and complete affiliation(s) (name of institution, city, and state) as well as e-mail address for all coauthors. Please also indicate a proposed running head of less than 40 symbols, the AMS (2000) Subject Classifications, and the name of the author to whom all the correspondences should be sent. Abstracts should not contain more than 300 words. Please prepare references as shown in the example file. It is not advisable to use any kind of your own macros in your LATEX file, so please try to keep the preamble as it is in the example file. The date of reception of a paper is one of its arriving to the journal’s address.
